Taste Notes: Bitterness from the orange zest mellowed a little with time, but it was still noticeable. Next time I use that much orange zest, I will bag it or not dump the whole pot into the fermenter. Otherwise the wort from Fenders made a good baltic porter with subtle chocolate notes and good malt character.

Notes
11/27/2018 - Kegged. FG=1.020. There was a harsh and unpleasant bitterness in this beer, I'm guessing this is from the orange zest. Hopefully it mellows out with some aging. I may have added too much orange zest and/or should have probably bagged it and removed rather than transferring it all to the fermenter. Time will tell I suppose.
