Notes
6/13/2022 - Brew Day - Accidently added an extra gallon of water to the mash, so I sparged with 1.25 gallons of hot tap water. Had a minor boilover as I was coming up to a boil with the lid on. I ended up taking off the neoprene jacked and cleaning it off along with the the BZ before putting it back on. Added wort chiller with 15 minutes left. Added 1oz Sabro hops and turned off the elements and allowed to whirlpool for around 10 minutes. Chilled to 72 degrees and pitched yeast. The yeast pack said to pitch at 68 and allow to rise to 75 degrees, so this should be fine.
6/14/22 - No yeast activity thr next day, so I took a gravity reading and still the same. Decided to pitch a pack of US-05 and aerate with mix-n-stir. It took off the next morning.
6/16/22 - evening - added 2oz Idaho Gem & 1oz El Dorado during active fermentation for a little biotransformation. Plan to add the rest after fermentation is complete.
6/19/22 - Added second dry hop addition
