Notes
8/10/2022 - Brew Day - Was going to make a porter but initially forgot the chocolate malt and decided to adjust the recipe on the fly. Boiled 45 mintues with a slight boilover at the beginning. Pitched pack of S-04 at around 74 degrees. Depending on how this beer tastes after fermentation, I may or may not add the PB fextract.
8/15/2022 - Kegged - FG=1.014 - There was a bit of a sharpness to this batch when kegging. The temp got a little higher than I wanted during fermentation, and it's also pretty young, so I'm hoping it will mellow out. I added about 1.5 oz PB extract to the keg and racked on top. Hopefully it will mellow out by the time I put it on tap in a month or so.
