There are a lot of options out there for drip trays. This is one that works great for both fridge kegerators and especially chest freezer kegerators (keezers), since people are leery of drilling into the side for fear of hitting a cooling line.  I know I didn't want to turn my new keezer into a doorstop, so I did a little research online and found the basis for this drip tray.

1. Find a drywall pan at your local hardware store.  Out of all the options, I liked the one from Menard's the best.  A lot of the pans are just folded with tack welds to hold them in place, but the one at Menard's was welded down the corners and had a better look.  If you can't find one locally, here's a link to one I found on Amazon that looks similar to the ones I used:  MARSHALLTOWN The Premier Line 6396 14-Inch Heli-Arc Stainless Steel Mud Pan

2. Pick up some heavy-duty 1" wide magnetic tape.  This can be found at any hardware store or even at Wal-Mart.  In case you're wondering what I'm talking about, here's a link to some on Amazon:  XFasten Flexible Magnetic Tape, 1-Inch x 10-Foot

3. Cut two strips of the magnetic tape the length of one of the sides of the mud pan and stick them to the pan.  This will keep the drywall pan (drip tray) securely held to the metal of your kegerator.  The magnetic tape is nice because you can remove the drip tray from the side of your kegerator for easily dumping out beer and cleaning.

Congratulations!  You've just built a cheap and easy drip tray for your kegerator.
